This is a brand new Premium JTX HID Kit in H4 – HID Hi and HID Lo and an amazingly bright 70w. Yes, thats twin beam HID. HID Low and HID High beams and in 70W and waterproof. This kit comes with our premium JTX alloy globes. We pride ourselves knowing our JTX alloy globes are the only ones out there which can withstand a true 70 watts. Others melt or burn out and if they dont then they are probably not getting a full 70 watts. Our glass is seated in ceramic and the body wont melt because it is alloy. Plastic globes will not cope with 70 watts. Also we have just released our new JTX H4 wiring kit which comes free with this package. 70 watts stretched things with conventional wiring kits which had issues with plugs burning out as well as complications internally in the relays. This wiring harness was engineered here at JTX and solves over heating and over loading through the use of high power ballasts. It also automatically handles the reverse polarity and earth switching of vehicles such as Toyota. Slim ballasts – AC non static really fast fire up. Colour options 4300K, 6000K, 8000K, 10000K, 12000K or 15000K. You get 4300K unless you ask for something different. The globes are exclusive to us – we identified where the normal H4 HID globes were failing and addressed these with the factory. The following improvements were made.. Internal improvements to connections, gases and materials like stainless steel and higher grade copper. Can only be clicked together just 1 way – eliminates being mounted upside down causing light scatter in low beam. The lock in is a lot more secure. The cheaper globes would wriggle loose and the globe body would fall out while driving and set fire to the rubber boot or anything combustible it comes into contact with – that was primarily the start of our quest for the ultimate JTX H4 alloy HID globe. The body is not plastic but alloy and the globe base is seated in ceramic. Means it can tolerate much higher temperatures and not melt. Cheaper globes tended to melt with 55w or 70w ballasts. These are working great with 70w ballasts and now with our new super loom we can use these globes with our 150w ballasts – now that says something. This will work completely submerged under water. The alloy body is cnc machined aluminium and will not rust or corrode. It will not crack, split or fatigue like the plastic ones once subjected to heat. When you flick between high and low beams one does not turn off and the other turn on. The light stays on and so there is no warm up period between changes. In low beam the light is shaded from the reflector so light only bounces off the top half of the reflector and shines forwards and downwards.. When you flick to high beam the stalk of the globe pulls inwards and so it is no longer shaded and light reaches the entire reflector and now it also shines upwards.. Our HID globes generate just 15% more heat than a normal bulb of the same watts. So with a 70w ballast this kit generates about the same heat as a conventional 80w bulb (which is typically normal high beam for most cars) and so there is no fading or problems with lights and even plastic headlights. This kit includes our premium grade 70w JTX ballasts. 70W – these are the best ballasts you can get. 12V and 24V – they do both so dont even need to send me a message. Refer to pic of this kit working under water. Ballasts are AC Digital for faster brightness and longer globe life. You don’t need anything else – it is a totally complete kit and ready for super bright lights. HID lights work by passing electricity through xenon gas. There is no fragile element. To blow a globe you have to physically break it. The globe has a small chamber filled with Xenon gas. A constant spark of electricity (an arc) crosses between 2 electrodes and it lights up the xenon gas. The gas doesn’t change form or escape and so it lasts for ever. You can expect years and years out of your HID kit. What’s more it pulls low watts so there is no burden on the car’s wires. Also our JTX HID is only 15% hotter than normal incandescent globes and so there is no fading or melting of lenses etc. That arc of electricity in the globe needs very high voltage and so the job of a ballast is to convert 12 volts to 23,000 volts. To be guaranteed of a really good continuous arc that’s not going to burn out the electrodes or flicker on and off it needs to be 23,000 and it needs to be a pure AC sine wave. So make sure your ballasts are AC and not DC. Our JTX Ballasts are Canbus so they wont pull up dash warning lights in cars with computers. If you dont need Canbus then these still work for non canbus applications. Like everything JTX these ballasts are the very best. They reach full brightness the fastest. They are the brightest they can be without going the next step to 55w. They wont cause static on the radio. They are guaranteed for 2 years but you can expect 20-30 years of great driving with them. We pay a fair bit extra for these parts and the pay off is we don’t get the problems of flickering lights or dead globes or ballasts. Common question : Are they water proof? YES This HID kit (Ballasts and globes) works completely submerged under water. I work closely and directly with the factories. My ballasts come from different factories depending on what kit you are getting and likewise we have another 2 different globe factories. We have withstood the test of time and JTX now have the most professional line up of quality HID, LED and accessories like wiring kits etc. I have many years of sourcing the best components and now dealing with factories directly to get them to make improvements that I deem are warranted based upon 10’s of thousands of sales. I have done the hard yards. Remember, a cheap kit is not cheap once you throw it out. I see it all the time. It covers non functioning ballasts, globes and wiring kits.
