Due to overwhelming sales and popularity of the Orssom Performance Cold Air Intake (Aust reg design No: 315677) to keep up with demand Orssom have recently started manufacturing these intakes out of a premium quality OEM grade injected plastic. Orssom Performance products are NOT vacuum formed or rotational moulded like most cheaper intakes in todays market, which use recycled plastics. Orssom products are made from factory OEM grade plastic material similar to that found in other plastic components under you bonnet. Other inferior grade, competing products over time, will not stand up to the under bonnet temperatures resulting in cracking & distorting, neck areas collapsing, air filters falling out of them until finally they find their way into the rubbish bin. Using a genuine K&N air filter with a huge surface area, the Orssom OTR offers huge flow with perfect filter retention. The filter has an outside width 478mm (18.813″), outside height of 144mm (5.688″) and an outside thickness of 30mm (1.188). Once installed to the vehicle, the filter is retained in a recessed base and is then securely seated by the top cover assembly which is then screwed down.
