Holden Commodore VT Calais LS1 T56 LSD HSV Harrop
2000 Holden Commodore VT Calais. Brought over by a lovely chap called Eddie in 2009ish. Eddie bought the car at a couple of years old when he lived in Oz. He was a humanist preacher and serial car modifier and used the Commy to travel to various churches around Austraila for a few years. In his ownership he fitted a HSV brake kit, Koni shocks and springs, quickshift, full stainless exhaust system, 18 alloys, bucket seats awful! , a few minor engine mods and the mother of all towbars. Eddie and his wife Margaret moved back to the UK in the late 2000s which is where I first met them. He saw my Senator parked outside my shop and popped in for a chat. It had been stored since he brought it over and it had gained a few battle scars during that time. I had it recovered to my unit and got it running easily enough but the clutch was on its last legs. I fitted an LS7 clutch and flywheel, Mishimoto rad and PS cooler and changed all the fluids. I took all trim and under shields off and rustproofed the car properly, cavity waxed all the box sections and sills. It’s 100% solid, never welded, won’t need any! I took it for an MOT in 2020 and drove it for a few days. I filled the tank up one day, drove it to my unit and couldn’t restart it, and that’s where it’s been ever since! The fuel pump doesn’t chime in so I’m guessing it’s that but a distinct lack of time and loads of other GM projects mean I won’t get it done so it’s gotta go! Having a massive clear out so please see my other items for all sorts of classic car and bike parts I’ve accumulated over the Years. Please note – the video is of the car running before it failed to proceed!

VE Holden Commodore HSV L98 LS2 LS3 L76 V8 OTR CAI Harrop Airbox Infill Panel
Harrop Airbox Infill Panel Suitable for all VE Holden Commodore & HSV. When fitting any OTR you obviously have to remove the factory airbox, however this does leave a rather nasty hole in the engine bay. Besides looking less than factory, it also leaves a big area open in your engine bay above your passenger side front wheel which exposes the bay to rocks and debris that can damage various components, not to mention the aesthetics. Harrop Engineering have solved this issue by manufacturing an OE style Infill Panel constructed from a durable high temperature ABS polymer. Easy to install with simple handtools in 10 minutes you can finish off the look of your engine bay. If you have an OTR intake system fitted to your pride and joy, put the finishing touch on with the OTR Infill Panel. Also available are the Harrop Engineering side Facia Panel kit designed to suit the Harrop OTR intake (see our other listing). Harrop Airbox Infill Panel suitable for all VE Holden Commodore & HSV. Compatible with all brands of OTR intake, including Harrop.

Please note that as there is some minor variation in this engine bay area in VF Holden & HSV, these panels have been made oversized, so that the panel can then be trimmed down to suit each specific model. Panel will need to be trimmed back to suit your specific vehicle. Sit the panel in place, line up the fitting points and then measure out how much needs to be cut. Cutting can be done with a sharp utility knife etc.
