The bite from cold is superb which is uncommon with race materials which normally require warming-up making the Yellowstuff pads perfectly safe to be used on both street and track. This new formulation has been used by numerous championship race and rally drivers and is truly a milestone in brake pad material development. EBC Yellowstuff brake pads have a nominal friction coefficient of 0.5 with zero brake disc damage and the dust is the same or perhaps slightly more than many original pads. This is not a low dust pad. Many part numbers now carry ECE R90 approval but please check with ourselves or the EBC technical department to confirm if the material for your application is street legal when using for highway driving within Europe (where regulation 90 applies).
